More fine music, courtesy of Cheltenham's favourite son.

Go to the album page for A Twitch Upon the Thread and click on the Listen/Download link.

If you're new to Pickering Pick, feel free to read the reviews of his earlier albums, all of which are also available for free on Rate Your Music.

More links than a PGA convention!

Incidentally, while I'd like to boast the title of "Cheltenham's Favourite Son", I suspect that honour will ultimately rest on Brian Jones (who actually went to my school!), Gustav Holst, or, umm, Eddie Edwards.

I also see now that I have foolishly decided to release a new album on the same day as Bonnie "Prince" Billy. Anonymity and mediocrity shall follow like amputee hearth dogs.

Is there a place to find lyrics?

I can definitely make lyrics available to anyone who wants them. The songs on ATUTT are quite wordy, so I won't try posting them all here. They're ballads, mostly, running to several verses each.

PM me for specific lyrics or general questions.

Thanks!

Who knows... if not for my admitted sentimental attachment to On Rocket Rapture, I'd probably be hailing this as my new favourite Pickering Pick album.

And if I weren't so hell-bent right now on rating all the songs in my iTunes library (less than 2000 to go!), I'd certainly prop myself up for a big ol' ORR vs ATOTT listening binge right now.

I've listened to it several times now (haven't had time to decide on a rating yet).  So far I'm digging it a lot more than The Pacific Ocean.  Good stuff as usual, cravenmonket.  I love the last track.

Another amazing album.

If there's anyone out there wondering what they should listen to tonight - get yourself over there right now ... it's FREE and it's fantastic.

Well done Pickering Pick!
