It seems that by the time Accept had released this album, they were running low on ideas. For the most part, this album seems uninspired. There are a few songs here that are worth listening to it, but mostly this album is forgettable. |

1981’s “Breaker” makes the first two Accept albums look like two sub par demos: the speed, confidence and power finally arrived to stay, the tics and schtiks of the Udo Dirkschneider’s voice appear here for the real first time in its real dimension, and the sound reaches a general growing: is in “Breaker” where Accept finds its definitive style, and this LP would serve as blueprint for their classic albums and sound until today.
“Run if you can”, “Can’t stand the night”, “Starlight”, the expeditious and brilliantly hysterical “Son of a bitch”, “Feelings”, with Udo spitting out the words with the coldness of an S.S. executioner, “Midnight highway” or the title track are proof enough of the brilliancy of this album, one of the finest Accept LPs to date. |

By the time ACCEPT's best release. First time the "hits" (hooklines, grooves and solo guitars come together) outweigh the "misses" (some with a boring chorus or verse, others with substandard guitars).
