Mr. Pick has stripped down his music to the bare essentials for this one. It's good stuff, probably along the lines of the best coffeeshop performance you'll ever see, but he's done so much more on other albums such as the concepts and perfect songwriting of Trafalgar and On Rocket Rapture or the electronic flourishes of Lost Transmissions and The Pacific Ocean.
If all you want are simple acoustic ditties, though, this is the one. And it's free! |
