How does one respond to this?  I was floored when I found out that Sam wrote "Ballad of Kevvy & Jenny" as a wedding gift to my (now) wife and me.  Sam wasn't able to attend the wedding, but trust me, all the guests in attendance think kindly of Sam, thanks to his wonderful song (see: The Ballads of Kevvy and Jenny).  In fact, it's my mom's favourite song as well!

I can't think of where to start actually reviewing this song - it just means too much to me to critique.  But trust me, I wouldn't consider it to be my favourite song if it didn't sound beautiful.  It's the best gift Jenny and I have ever received.  I wish I could give it 500 stars.

Also of note...

Since Sam OK'd the cover art, I should mention it's a photo I took during the winter of 2007, just a few minutes from where I grew up.  My (now) wife and I were snowshoeing through the area and as the sun set, the sky light up with silver and gold.
