My addiction to buying and seeking new music has always ebbed and flowed. I am currently in a very large ebb and am not picking up new music much if at all. Trying to enjoy the massive amount I have purchase in the last 5 years. I shall return to my old habits; when, I do not know.

All ratings are of albums I own or have owned and have listened to enough to form an opinion. An album without a rating is one I need to spend more time on before giving a score. I think I am a bit generous with my ratings. I need to weed out some discs from the 4.5 and 4 ranges - But I stand by my 5s. A 5 is a disc that I never tire of listening to. About my metal lists. Sometimes they are just heavy albums and not really metal per se. Also they are in a bit of disarray as I am trying to rank all of the heavy/metal discs that I own for that year instead of just a Top X so there are many missing. Plus sometimes I forget to add discs after I buy them.
